Isn't it cart before horse? Wouldn't he have been better checking the position with the accountants first?

I actually didnt know it had been announced. Trevor was a great supporter of the supporters trust concept a few years ago, I look forward to working with him but I would have checked the figures first as well.

As far as we know on here the CC are the only group who are interested in taking over the club,if they cant fund the club for the next 3/4 years then we're in trouble. No one is really being negative,some people are showing there concern others are coming out with ideas to raise funds if they're needed,sadly others have gone out of there way to wind people up and have come out with no ideas at all.

I don't know much about Trevor Barton, if someone could give me a quick PM to tell me who he is and what he does it would be appreciated.



What I do know is it is nice that a few people are now coming out and it seems a few people are trying to get it all sorted, my brother said that Andy Burnham has tweeted about getting new investors into the club, so cogs are begining to move hopefully.

Not being funny here but who has appointed him as CE, and based on what. No idea where he fits in relation to the club - not aware that he has shares or anything

Don't think AR had shares. I assume the remaining directors appointed him. Scanning all these threads I don't think anyone will be good enough. Too many grudges about too many people, and I would have to admit if certain people were involved I'd struggle too. But we need our club to be saved and we do not have the time for all this bickering.

Havn't seen a email or a release on the club website so is it true or not.

Apart from Basil on Radio Manc last night I havn't seen anything that offers a different opinion other than the press releases quoting our former chairmen and Chief Exec neither of which stated any dire future for the club



With things going into meltdown could someone trustworthy such as Fred or Dave Parky get a interview from whoever is running the club (or even Basil) so the fans of this club know exactly what is fact and what is fiction.

He was on tv tonight under the title of acting chief ex,now I'm sure he was not lieing nor the tv

Could you give a brief outline of what he said (basically did he back up what Basil said last night) and if so what the actual situation is and if a robust realistic plan is in place and when it starts , who is involved etc, etc.

In fact anything mentioned for those of us who didn't see it.



Might be a idea if they can keep the lads that do the website in the loop, communication is vital at these times and our website has been one of the best in sport for upto date info.
