Just goes to show how these things are obviously subjective......'cos I personally find MacIntyre about as funny as walking around with a six inch nail through my foot!!



He's right up there with Russell Brand as things I am told are hilarious - but turn out to be just more to add to that unusual category of 'laugh-free comedy' (see "My Family", Michael Barrymore, the last 30 years of "Last Of The Summer Wine", Joan Rivers, anything by Carla Laine, "The Mighty Boosh", etc)



If Peter Kay has got a load of new material - I'll be gutted, but after the last tour (which I thought was fantastic at the time - went seeing him twice - Warrington & Blackpool), I don't think he did himself any favours with the public by keep re-hashing, and re-releasing his DVDs. The Live at Albert Halls and the Live at MEN, where the same set.....with just a handful of 'local flavour' gags thrown in. Talk about milking the moment for all it was worth!!!



I might just wait for the DVD........or wait until it is inevitably shown on TV - then decide if it's worth buying the DVD!!

He was starting to stagnate even though it was funny second time around. Needs a complete re-hash to keep the comedy up to date!

I hope no one has tickets up at the back of the MEN (if it is there). You should take your binos to even see the side screens you are that far away.

Think they were sold out around 12 today. Surprised the corporate ones have gone at around £100 a chuck. They said they could have sold loads more but there were no more dates available at the men. Maybe he'll do some more later in the year.

Waste of money if you ask me. It will be out on DVD (nearly said video) 3 months later. He knows how to make a quid does Peter.

Same can be said of any event in the world they all come out on DVD 3 months later, Challenge Cup finals, Grand Finals, U2 concerts etc

If any one gets a chance, try to get to a pre-tour gig. We went to one at Bury Met before the "Bungalow" tour.

He tries out loads of stuff to see what he can use in the main run...very informal but very very funny

I used to really like Peter Kay until I saw him as an audience member at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester. At the interval i asked him could I take a photo of him with my daughter. His reaction was like a spoilt little brat. But for my daughter i would have told him to eff off. Of course when I took the photo the public image smile came on and then he went back to his surly sour face. He was totally rude and up his own bum.



A few weeks later I was in Manchester with my daughter again and we bumped into Christopher Eccleston of Dr Who fame. I asked for a photo with my daughter again and he was totally different. Really polite and a real down to earth bloke who hadn't let fame go to his head. Top bloke.

Got given a 'snide' copy of the CD 'Programme' from the "MWAB" tour....contains an 'interview' conducted between PK and his tour manager, Gordon, cut with clips from the pre-tour warm-up gigs......and there is a lot of very funny stuff on there.

As does every other performer in every field. That's life. You could argue watching Leigh is a waste of money because Fred releases a dvd the week after.

The day after in fact, anyone want to buy them cause not a lot do

How much are they Fred? Do you have a copy of the Keighley away match from 8/9 years ago when we came from something like 28-0 down to win. Think it was Millwards last match in charge, or one of the last.
