widnes won the match with ease without any problems. how can anyone say widnes arnt that good

widnes have gone ok the last couple of times i've seen them, leigh have gone backwards and are on a slippery slope. sorry to bring up past topics but once again we are going nowhere under the current regime. TB had the upper hand on a poor coach at widnes last season but we are a very poor 2nd place this season. as much as people on here try to defend DS surely people have to realise he and PR are not the men to take our great club forward. its true that not many coaches are available at the mo, but we are at a stalemate with the current set up and a change may lift everybody. we can either persist with the current farcical of a set up or at least try and get ourselves out of it. we have a decent squad that should not be getting beaten with such ease by fellow promotion contenders (if thats what we can call ourselves). we looked 2nd best all over the park tonight and its not pretty viewing, please do something about this we are fast becoming a laughing stock of rugby and i for one am becoming a tad embarrassed.

I'm surprised you're kind of clouding over the fact that Leigh were terrible with 'if they were that good they'd have put more on us'. I think there were occasions we bombed tries but on the whole 46-12 is a really harsh defeat. Leigh have got serious on the field problems.

Thing is we put 50 on Widnes last year at their place(they still made the GF, we didnt), so yesterdays results means nothing.

That game doesnt mean a lot...........early days 1 game



But what it does show, which i am bothered about is ............



if we have injuries we dont have the cover to replace them,



hence yesterdays result............



6 players out doesnt make a winning team.............



i will be there on Monday, still shouting for Leigh........

We knew we were underachieving last year, because we had the players but weren't putting in the performances. The fact that you're signing players like Sean Richardson to me says you haven't got the players. I'm not having a dig, I want to see Leigh competitive, but I've not seen anything this year to suggest you will be, and that includes when you beat us at Hilton Park.

Widnes aren't superb but at this stage of the season they are a much, much better team than us. I can see us improving when we get players back from injury/suspension but sadly not enough to get to the standerd of Widnes/Castleford.

A decent Widnes performance not a great one!! A terrible Leigh performance by a team robbed of several regulars just about sums it up. Remember last Good Friday?? Did we put 50 past Widnes last season? Did they sign a load of new players mid way through the season to changer their team? Did they get to the Grand Final? I wonder if we could do the same?? We could sign Grix back when he doesn't get paid next month!! Like Pat Cluskey said on GMR they will have to find wages from somewhere and looking at Widnes home fixtures they don't come every other week so money will be hard to come by!
