I know the ideas have been raised on here a few times about beer tents etc and I think there's definitely something to kick on with after yesterday - did anyone else notice the grassed area directly behind the North Stand had been cut and was in the full sunshine from before the game and all the way until afterwards?



Would be absolutely ideal for beer tent, picnic tables, BBQ, ice cream van etc etc.

why dont we do our own fanzone , see what happens!

I`d have thought the adjacent land was WMBC/LSV. Would they be willing to allow beer tents etc( I personally think it would be a winner) and would nt the Park Inn object to.

Bit of healthy competition from the Park Inn or they could even help out with it somehow.

But are n`t they part of the cartel who set prices?

No EMC set prices at the LSV re food and drink.

They wouldn't be very happy if food and beer were being sold outside the ground would they.I know i wouldn't be.

Well I`ve stopped buying it inside the ground, so onwards and upwards.....More folk should follow suit.

No J.C. and I couldn't see the LSV allowing it neither, there is always Pennington Park or The Country park via the council bods (after all it is election time but then again its probably too late or that), of course if and when the LSV refuse it.

Nowt to stop them shifting a couple of the bored concourse staff in to a tent behind the North Stand to sell cans at £2 a chuck. Still massive profit margins and pricing would be par for the course. Of course, that opens up the question of what LRL would gain from it, which I suppose the answer would be nowt financially but still part of the greater goal of improving the matchday experience and in turn improving attendances.

then again if they are going to run it they will say just go into The Legends bar and take up the offers on in there (if they are still on that is).

Why would anyone want to pay £2 for a can of fosters et al when you can get a pint of stella for £2.50 in the Park Inn.............Now I`m all for supporting my club in many ways but £2 for a warm can of lager..........PAH!!!...
