Just wondering that when considering how long Van Dijk has played for them. In fact, I thought JVD was a real addition to the National Leagues during his time in the UK so it's a bit of a shame that he's being sent home after 3/4 years here IMHO.

We'd all heard whispers about these players and the 'goings on' that had enabled them to play in this country but I always thought they'd somehow manage to wrangle their way out of it.



You're absolutely right, this is very embarrassing for RL and one of their 'fast tracked' teams. How could they have let this happen? I know Red Hall had a very close involvement in the setting up and progression of this team so to let this happen under their noses is astonishing. The certainly know the immigration laws when it comes to our team but they obviously got a little confused when dealing with Celtic!!

Dont they have too renew them every so often though. If so, may be thats wen it was done. They should be kicked out of Super League for this, other companys get in trouble such as fines and stuff for employing illegals, Celtic should be no exception!!

Now matter how few in number, their fans are surely amongst the most dedicated in the game when considering the distances they have to travel and undoubtedly a certain degree of amnosity that they encounter, so I do feel sorry for the speccies in that degree after being led down the garden path for so long. However, it's exactly as the RFL deserved. They should be sent back to Championship One and do things properly with a slow development of local players, rather than shipping in illegal immigrants to play for them.
