Are we talking about a different Les Boyd? I'd ask Kurt Sorenson, Paul Hulme, Ellery Hanley and Andy Gregory about that tbh.
I adored Les but the only reason he didn't have his own parking space at the RFL disciplinary meetings was because the game was rather different (and better) then. |

Is McGuire passed his best? Yes. Will he be better than what we have for the next 2 years? Also Yes. Very dirty player, which is lovely news…. |

The 'Les' we got didn't receive a two year ban for gouging whilst playing for us. He was still a player that dished it out in in the Primrose and Blue BUT he did channel his efforts MORE into the great rugby player he really was.

This is the key thing. Same with Morley, who had a terrible disciplinary record at Leeds and got banned a lot at the Roosters as well, but when he came to us he cleaned it all up. It's one thing having a past if you clean your act up when you get a shot with the biggest club in the world. |

As long as those 3 or 4 games he plays a blinder are the semis and grand final in 2023, I won't mind if he gets banned and buggers off. |
