We have no dog and no guile. If we had just one we would have a sniff but neither means we're knackered this season. I just hope to goodness this nothing season is part of the plan but as usual I think we give TS too much credit in that regard. Daryl Clark should be here now or at the very least Dwyer add Rhys should be playing

The one glaring error for me was the lack of high kicks to the corner for Joel Monaghan. The biggest percentage of his tries come from this tactic and it appears nobody could be bothered to try it tonight. Considering how much better Wigan were allegedly, you did well to keep the margin so small. Early days yet and I'm sure you'll turn things round.

Could and denied. Two words which define winners and losers.

Attack is all over the place. What I don't get is Matty Russell on the bench? If he's fit play him if not don't pretty straight forward.



Kicking game is all over the place. Ratchford is wasted at FB. Myler & Atkins are just a waste.



Mr Smith yet again as got it all wrong. Dreading next weeks game.

I wonder if those 3 Challenge Cups just papered over the cracks?

The reasons we aren't at our best are called Lee and Briers and come September they will still be valid.

Wigan will be happy with the points from that display as they did the basics right, only the last 20 when they were tiring that we started to show any form of attack which usually ended with knock ons or penalties against us.



What is so frustrating from this seasons performances I have seen is that we have changed our game plan to the old 5 drives and a kick, and our kicking game isn’t great. When you expect the ball to be moved out wide it is being brought back into mid field. No offload game which has proved so successful in the past. I wonder if this is a confidence thing or TS instructing them not to.



Not going to criticise player by player but I have said it on other threads that Asotasi does not do enough IMO. I know some overseas players take time to adjust to the British game but for a prop they have to run the ball take the team forward and tackle and hopefully put some fear in the opposition. I don’t see enough of that in him. Anyone who went to London and Salford may be able to defend him more.



Credit tonight to Russell who added some attacking flair which is sadly missing from the team.

A title would have papered over the cracks Sally but so far he's come up short. Nevertheless some players no longer live for special brew or knock their missus' about so i'm happy to be also-rans with nicer chaps

Compare that to now and what do we have?

Myler - money under false pretences.

Bridge - finished. Get Evans in there.

Joel - embarrassed tonight on several occasions.

Asotasi - holiday is over. Why did we let Carvell go?

Monaghan M - why does TS still put him in at half back?

Laithwaite - after the Lord Mayors show!



Embarrassing tonight to watch the ineptitude when on attack. The "dummy runners" seemed to have no idea where they were supposed to be. Kicking game was non existent. We are attacking from static positions and not moving off the defensive line quickly enough.

Wigan were quicker in all departments and it was just fortunate that their handling was as bad as ours in the last 20 minutes.

A long season ahead.

I had a theory that Smith was waiting for a bad game from GOB and the second it happened he would get dropped, I shared it with Fat belly tonight.



Myler had stunk this season, but Tony's pig headedness and the fact we paid what we did wont see him dropped.

Well GOB had a bad game so that's him done now and Tony can finally say "I'm dropping you on performance".

Asotasi is second row impact, that can't do a spell longer than 15 minutes, he looks disinterested and he is currently my new 'Rhys Williams' I can forgive crap when they try but he's lazy.

I'd swap him for Carvell in a heartbeat.



Mylers kicking game consists of easy grubber for the fullback, aimless bomb down the fullbacks throat and kicks to the corner aimed at opposition wingers. Forget the price tag drop him.



GOB first bad game for me considering the chances everyone else is getting he gets a pass.



Riley how does a guy that size have no f@#$*+ impact whatsoever?



Laithwaite defends like a monster attacks like a jellyfish, Gaz Hock runs better lines than him in nightclub toilets.



Atkins did nothing wrong tonight, easy to do when you're completely anonymous.



Ormsby MoM? Not panning him for that mistake but the corporates who picked that obviously took advantage of the champagne a bit too much.

Ratch, Hill, Westwood, Waterhouse, Higham played well

Russell played great but what an absolute waste of a bench spot, grow some balls Tony drop Myler and have Russell playing from the off.
