Spot on.....What was most embarrassing was the Sky lot proclaiming a 'famous London victory', when in reality it was nothing more than a glorified training session.



Wire have completed their objective in the weekly rounds, and that was to finish in the top two - Let's not get all upset when we perform similarly in the final 2 meaningless league fixtures, because it will happen.

My point is this year we are selecting games. Last year we just ted everyone and ended up running out of puff as a result.

Exactly, I can't believe people (Wire fans and those on here gloating at our result) are taking tonight seriously.....If anything tonight's game is just an illustration of how messed up this whole league competition now is - Wire have been ambling along for most of the season, only raising their game when it was needed. Tonight it definitely wasn't needed and it showed.



Does anybody out there seriously think if this was a Challenge Cup game, or a vital must-win fixture, that London would get within 20 or 30 points of a full strength Wire side??

been there and bought enough tee shirts it happens in sport..be at wembley tho if we get battered so be it but remember the dark days when results like that were the norm and going to a final was a distant dream,remember them days,,be grateful we have a good team and a very good coach...take it you didnt go either
