Brough for mine. However, Sintellins would be lost without Roby so he should be considered. From Warrington, most influential have been Hodgson and Briers (would he get votes form other players though?) although Morley might be in with a sentimental shout again.

How is the old man doing this season? I've not seen much of the mighty Wire this season but I remember thinking he looked pretty weathered at the end of last season.
Stats wise this year he's dropped a metre per carry or so and seems to be missing a fair few tackles?
Is he still coming up with his game changing bone shakers? |

He still has plenty of presence, probably slowing down a bit but still very fit and capable of a full eighty minute game. Life in the old dog yet. |

Think Briers has to have a shout he is playing some of the best rugby of his career. He is taking on the line alot more and getting sucess alot of the time. Probably because players fear Hodgson linking in. From what i have seen this season Brough, Deraux, Chase(who is starting to fade due to cas's injuries) Hodgson and Roby are the other main contenders

Personally i think the current system is a farce where the players vote for the winner, thats open to some iffy voting. I'm not a big believer in copying everything that the NRL does but their system is a lot better, they accrue points throughout the year towards the Dally M medal, also they reward players in the best position throughout the year like the best half back etc.
