I'm here.
No apology afraid. How can it be " =#FF0000THE RETURN" when Souths have ALREADY played there. The point I was making was that I was surprised that it was not played at a bigger ground. I've been to Refern (not since it's redevelopment), I've been to Souths Leagues Club (and was warned to stay inside until our taxi arrived), I've been to the ANZ and I've been to the SFS, so I don't need "lecturing" on their merits.
I would have thought that somewhere like the SFS would have been the ideal choice, but maybe Warrington are not a big enough attraction.  |

Rogues the above is the post you took issue with. It quite clearly and particularly refers to the [size=150[u 2012[/u[/size Return to Redfern game.
Can't see a problem with a stadium of 5,000 capacity for Souths first pre-season game. It will have history to the location and a sell-out crowd creating a bit of atmosphere. A damn sight better atmosphere than there will be in your rented stadium for Sean O'Loughlin's testimonial game - how many do you think will be there for that game? With Warrington selling more than 200 tickets for the Souths' game at the club shop I'll bet there will be more Warrington fans at our game than there will be Huddersfield fans at the Dave Whelan Stadium for O'Loughlin's game.
As for the SFS stadium jibe I guess we couldn't use it as Wigan have it booked as part of their link-up with a NRL club that they were so vocal about a couple of years back or are they using it for the Saracens cross code game? |
