| Ordinary performance from Wire. Saints will be clear favourites. Can they handle the pressure though, I wonder? It's one thing beating Wire as underdogs but at home and with lots of time to contemplate playing Wire in the semi-final.... I think it will be Saints who will bottle it this time.
If we can beat Leeds (and I think we will despite the usual pro-Leeds officiating) it will be the Wigan v Wire final I know you Wire fans have been dreaming of for years.

Did you really just compare a Round 4 Challenge Cup game against a Championship 1 team who probably have less than 200 fans, to a Play-off game contested by 2 clubs who both average over 11k?
You absolute muppet.

I'm new on here, so forgive my ignorance, but where does this 'pro-Leeds officiating' malarkey come from, that Wigan fans seem so obsessed about?!
I'm a Wire fan, living in Leeds, so believe me if I thought there was any dodgy officiating going on towards them I'd be the first to rant about it!
Of course Wigan fans don't need to get their excuses ready just in case now, do they?
If there's one team that does seem to always benefit from dodgy ref decisions it's clearly Saints!!

Couldn't agree more, and after Wigan posted the 'house full' signs at their play-off game against Catalans I hope Moran (who obviously knows nowt himself about how to promote entertainment events) sends our marketing boys around to the DW for a quick lesson before next season.

I think most Wigan fans are still appalled by the Challenge Cup officiating, we deserved to lose but I was embarrassed for the referee's and their awful decisions/lack of decisions.

Just watch the games and look at the disciplinary process.
If we were "paranoid" why would we be fixated on Leeds? I don't know a single Wigan fan that would want us to play you instead of Leeds next week, if we were that desperately paranoid surely we'd be casting allegations around about you getting favourable treatment, you are the bigger threat?

It fascinates me how a group of fans can convince themselves that there's some kind of conspiracy against them/in favour of another team. I do watch the games, and until I came on here had no idea anyone thought Leeds had the rub of the green-from what I can see its only Wigan that see this?
I can't explain your paranoia (that's why it is, trust me); think of it logically-in whose interest would pro-Leeds officiating serve? If you were going to conspire in favour of anyone wouldn't it be the 'best supported' and 'biggest name' in RL, as it seems they need more help than the Rhinos in picking up silverware/making finals?

| Wigan fans have retrospectively constructed some sort of terrible performance against them in the CC semi-final (there was one bad decision when they were already getting hammered) in order to erase the memory of how bad Tomkins was that day.
