Can't see Hodgson backing up, suppose King and Bridge could but guess that will come down to how they feel after the end along with the others.

I'm sure Clarke will figure in the 17 (Cue the howls of derision). Five or even six players backing up sounds like too many to me. I'd rather see two or three youngsters get a run rather then risk pulls and tears to blokes playing twice.

| Why would you back Moz up but not Carvell? Thats just daft.
I think it's gonna be more or less the first team, only the skipper and Brett to get a breather, Joel & Harrison out through injury. Doubt Tyke or Mitch will be called back for one game, keep them on loan getting them more experience. Not gonna be a better chance to introduce one of the kids, give them a run out. It's only Salford 
So ill go for same as 40-20 but Grix to be starting 13, Anderson starting 11, Clarke bench and swap Moz out for Gaz in. |

Tony Smith said in the Guardian a couple of weeks ago that players would double up. There's no way he'll put 3-4 debutants in, he wouldn't do it against Swinton, so he certainly won't do it against Salford. I would expect minimal changes, maybe Hodgson and one of Morley/Carvell to be rested.
