Still, point stands that Wigan are a bit of a flat track bully in that respect. 3 points from a possible 12 so far is shocking and you're not really in a position to pick who you play. Will be a 6-8th place team next year when Tomkins departs, although I do like the young fullback.

Wigan and Leeds record against Wire this season is better than against Huddersfield, so WHY would they chose to play Huddersfield which is what is being inferred by some on this thread?

Our record is better against Huddersfield than Widnes, but I'd still prefer us to play Widnes in a important match. Get the point?

But we're on about Wigan and Leeds, not Wire, wanting to play Huddersfield according to some. If you think that Wigan tried to lose that game v Hull on Friday then you know nothing about Rugby League.



Just to add James Child on RFL Referees ✔ @RFLReferees twitter account admitted that on review he got the last Wigan attempted drop goal call wrong in that it WAS a Hull deliberate charge down and as the ball went dead should have been a Hull drop out from under the posts instead of a twenty metre restart.



However I can now see an advantage to playing Huddersfield.

Huddersfield will play their first play off game on Thursday 12th, so will have a short turnaround as they don't play their final game at Bradford until Saturday.
