KR have major defensive issues, but can look really competent attacking.



I'm not too confident after last season, where we suffered (what was then) equal to the biggest SL comeback defeat... I bet similar things were bring said back then, too.

There was a rather unfortunate bit of timing when Hemmings was saying that Rod Studd and Stevo "can start a row in an empty house" just as the camera gave us a particuarly forlorn shot of a virtually empty stand

Salford are after Sam Tomkins (this is not a joke).

Should be fun in the closed season, wonder if he'll get in a couple of high class Aussies after a buck.

Crowds doing well at PO Road so far this year, expect them to increase once the improvements are done.

Hull KR away is always a tough game and the players will be hurt after last night...

I reckon I could probably count without a calculator too, even if we are in a different country being in the south stand.

I thought I saw 2,500 as the minimum the franchising committee were looking for, if that is true they look to be doing quite well.

Featherstone's location means they'll have virtually no chance of a Super League franchise unless Cas and/or Wakefield go (which is not impossible I know, but I still doubt Fev would replace them).



Salford's location gives them a chance because the RFL will want a "Manchester" club, although they may have to consider and accept a Manchester re-brand which I know a number of their fans are already resigned to.

You won't play that badly too many times this season and I think you will be out to rectify that next week. You're always a tough prospect at your own ground and we have a lot of injuries.



That make you feel better?

I was always under that impression, but if memory serves at one of the Leigh fans forum they said this either no longer applies or was just a common misconception. Will try and find out.
