Thats exactly what it is, the lack of effort. The guy should be a wrecking ball but seems to be just going through the motions!

If the half price guardian voucher is to be scrutinised then Asotasi, Atkins and Micheal Monaghan are the headlining acts.

Hardly the best trio to endorse our team this season imo.

Actually, it's a bit unfair to call Monaghan poor, as he was brilliant... He is just shot now and has gone on longer than he should have done.

When I saw his display in the pre-season game at the LSV, my immediate thoughts were that this guy doesn't seem to be the same guy he used to be in the NRL.



But I said at the time that I'd be willing to give him a shot this season to see how he'd go in competitive games.



At the moment I'm slightly leaning to Yed's way of thinking, but whereas he's in the process of wanting to pay for his ticket back to Oceania

, I'm gonna stick with it and see what he's like for the rest of this year.

I don't get to see any NRL and when I saw him at the LSV I thought he looked the part whilst limbering up, a physical presence. When he took to the field, all be it for ten minutes I thought that he was just sizing the situation up rather than going at it full tilt, working out what he needed to do to compete in the English game so I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt (admitedly based on one glimpse).



However, with each game I'm afraid that my doubt is growing and if what we have seen so far for whatever reason is all that he has got to offer then I'm more than a tad disappointed

Whilst I pay for Premier sports and don't condone dodgy stuff on video sharing sites you must watch the Broncos v souths game and skip to 17 minutes and Watch Ben Barba kick to Greg Inglis on the last tackle....... if you don't say one swear word in the ensuing ten seconds you have no soul.......

He didn't really get much game time during that match (I'm sure it was only about 15-20 minutes in total) so I guess I just based my opinion on the time I seen him. Though seeing what he's done so far, I guess my estimation wasn't that far out.







I don't even know if he will come good or not. Will be interesting to see if his form continues to dip come the business end of the season. I really don't understand why it's taking him so long to blend in. He's had over 200 games in the NRL, played over 20 times for the Kiwis (also been captain), co-captain of the Rabbitohs, a NRL Grand Final winner. Everyone always say that SL is slower than the NRL, but at times whenever I see him run in and hit up, it's like watching it in slow motion. The only thing I can think of is that he may be suffering a slight bout of homesickness or something.
