| It would seem we're not the only ones questioning the quality of officials:

| Quote Richie Mylers Parrot="Richie Mylers Parrot"i was directly infront of it and can tell you that it was a TRY, myler grounded the ball and after that did it roll free. smith was behind myler when he grounded the ball and only saw it roll free but the touch judge (or what ever he does behind the goal) should of defo give it.'"
Maybe you need to understand the officials signals to get a grip on what is actually going on in a game.
The in goal judge that you are on about, gave the try by standing up straight and still with his arms tight by his side. Ian Smith simply overuled him. How that can be when the IGJ was in front of Myler and had a perfect view compared to smith who was a couple of meters behind him is simply perplexing.

| Quote Latchford Wolvesfan="Latchford Wolvesfan"Smith had a shocker, Myler scored without doubt, the spear tackler should have been given 10 mins at least, they were slowing down the play the ball and Hudds got away with stripping the ball on more than one occasion, I don't want to see Mr Smith again this year.'"
Smith didnt have the option to sin bin him. A spear tackle now is a penalty or if severe enough a straight red card. The tackle wasnt bad enough for a straight red so penalty and on report was the correct decision.

That's a joke if so. Looked a try to us (top of the stand) but if IGJ gave it and he had the best view of anyone, it should have stood. Che Smith needs to grow some and challenge the referees/Cummings

There is no point. Referees could commit first degree murder on the field of play and Cummings would still back them to the hilt.

Is there any point in putting people on report anymore? I mean, the rfl can look at it anyway, so why bother?

| I would guess that most supporters will know what to expect from the Referee assigned to their game. Me if it's Mr Ganson then first half one team get all the penalties, then he turns in the second half. Mr Smith and Mr Alibert both as bad as each other with no grasp of how to "boss" the game. Mr Silverwood one sided, if it's not you thats in favour then forget it the opposition will win. Mr Bentham and Mr Thaler are poor and the games often run away with them. Mr Silverwood and Mr Ganson often make fools of themselves when they are obviously trying to penalise the team that is getting the upper hand and the penalties are not having any effect. It becomes so obvious what they are doing. Most of them allow one team to lie on or stand continually offside and the other team get penalised. They all try to get drama into the game by continually using the video ref. Cosidering that these guys in the main are full time professionals they are poor

| I thought that Smith had a shocker he did nothing about Kevin Brown chinning Myler and also the spear on our guy. It pains me to say it but i think that Ganson is the best referee we have in Super League.

I love how people can form a clear and unbiased opinion on an incident from 100 yards away while criticising the man who makes the decisions on the field of play

| In fairness Mark it was a try
Smith had an obstructed view and was behind play, the IGJ was johnny on the spot and he gave it only for Smith to over-rule him

| Was a try for me too.
He seemed to put the ball down fine, then it bobbled away from him afterwards which is why I think Smith disallowed it. I am sure had it been on Sky he would have referred it to the VR and it would have been given.
