None of our kickers are any great shakes. I wouldn't have been surprised if Briers fluffed the kick, he did a few years ago when we had a kick to win it at the end against Wakefield. Bridge is nothing special with the boot.

Do you not remember Briers missing an easier kick against Wakey to win the game a few years back? People miss kicks all the time but at the end of the day we got what we deserved today and that was nothing. Also your eyes must be pretty goosed if you thought it was a kick directly in front of the sticks pal. |

Yes Briers was injured, Quad Strain should be back for Monday according to Tony Smith on Radio Manchester after the game
On the Hicks note he has done a great job as the kicker since Briers was dropped. He slipped and sliced the ball as he ran up to it. Nothing can be done about it. We didn't deserve anything from the game
I think people should be looking at the poor performances from Monaghan, Clarke, Grix, etc. before they criticise somebody that puts in 100% every week for us
