Was he at centre? Memorable. I thought he was on the wing. If he is going to be our centre for the next 3 years then I am more than happy for him to stay. If he is going to be plonked on the wing and be slow then I would rather we cut our losses and play a youngster.
When push comes to shove we can't pay that much for a winger and Riley is 'very' good at it. |

Yeah, he was at centre, PJ was on the wing. Remember, a. Monaghan threw PJ a pass in the corner that went into touch, and b. PJ nearly scored but got put in touch, good tackle by McGuire who hurt himself in the process.
He was much more involved, looked hungry for work, and made a break actually, well, he broke a tackle, shrugged someone off etc, a half break probably better. |

I'm sure that Smith has seen an international class player who doesn't have a single ounce of confidence left in his game. The job for Smith is to re-build that confidence because you can guarantee that Smith is looking at all the qualities the Matt King that we signed had as being the necessary qualities for inclusion in Tony Smith's Warrington team.
I would be 100% certain, despite what supposed people in the know might say, that Matt King is very much 100% in Tony Smith's plans going forward beyond this season.
