It's just the older generation. Because that never happened in 'their day' and they never needed drums to support. All they needed was a flat cap and a hand rattler. Now the support has changed I think they are just wary of it. Humans are creatures of habbit don't forget.

Two way street.

In order to make noise with your mouth and hands you actually need to join in, something that doesn't happen anymore. where we stand near the 20, must be 50 people max that sing.



Add that the the young 12 year old kids that go to mess about and the 12 year old girls that go because they like the boys that are going and we end up with a e crowd.



At this rate were gonna have to choose a spot like Wigan fans had to do so all the fans who want to sing and create noise and have fun can stand together.

I'm with you on the atmosphere, but you can't just claim its a generation thing. There's many reasons why the atmosphere has died since we moved to the HJ. One of the main reasons IMO is the level of music pumped out in to the stands per game. You can barely hear yourself think at times.

An atmosphere is not created by fans banging drums and singing.

That happens because of an atmosphere.



No atmosphere means forced drumming and singing which doesnt last long.



You cannot manufacture an atmosphere if there isnt one already, all you can create is a noise.

No i suppose your right, but I don't think some of the older generation are reluctant but it cant be all put solely on that alone. the music this wouldn't matter if it was an anthem that everyone sang along to like YNWA at Anfield. Get the crowd up for it, the only problem is how do we get everyone to sing to it and what anthem would we have?

I think anthems are gay.

Why not just play nothing and let the fans be rugby league

Im not talking about the butterflies and tense feeling in the air of a semi final or a big league deciding game. I'm talking about the noise of the stadium. But i do think if the entire stadium was jumping and singing from the get go then a matchday experience would be more fun and attract more people through the gates. We've always known and been talked about the best fans in the league, why hold back? lets go for it!
