How old are they?

holmes is 28 and matuatia (' ') is 30

I guess both will be solid squad players. I hope Trueman is coming over with 'Powelly' as well!

Is Holmes a signal that Hill may be on his way out (I hope not). As for Matautia this can't be laid at KF's door (surely), his current coach must really rate him.

Holmes is a second rower....so not a replacement for Chilly surely?

I'm sure that 'Powelly' will have a better idea than everyone on here (until he gets the job) but IF we land Williams, does anyone think that we compliment him with Riley Dean in the first instance?

He's a back row that can play prop. As opposed to jack Hughes who's a back row that can play in the backs

Been very impressed with Holmes in the last couple of games I’ve seen him in. Him and Currie in the back row looks good to me.

I hope that Holmes would be in his preferred position in 2nd row. I want to see specialist props playing prop..... really big lads with plenty of 'go forward'...not fellas who are too lightweight to be playing in the front row.
