Don't play on that weekend. Those 2 points could be vital

they gave the offer to have the break last year with the england vs france match but declined and i heard somewhere all the coaches have agreed to play that weekend?

Who is Myler going to be playing for that weekend? Surely not England?

hes in the elite squad but injury may keep him out of both

No need to take a break, that team is good enough to beat Salford even without ten internationals.

I'm sure the agreement is that they can only pick 4 for each team (Exiles/England) from each club, so the likelihood is that we will ONLY be missing a max of 8. Having said that, Myler and Harrison may still be injured, so they may be the extra 2??



Add to that, the game is on Friday, and our game is on Sunday, and they are allowed to back up, if the club want them to - so players like J Monnas, King, Bridge, Benny etc, may well back up on Sunday, perhaps as bench players, depending how much game time they have on the Friday?

dun think smith will risk them playing again within 2 days but yeah the team as i previously put down i think is still quite strong altho abit lacking in experience

There is a limit to 3 players per club playing for the Exiles. Our current 5 will become 3 in the final 17. Not seen mention anywhere of a limit in the England squad.



Those that do play may well just back up and play again for us on the Sunday anyway - that happened recently down under with players playing on the Friday in the Aus-NZ and Country-City origin games and then again for their clubs on the Saturday and Sunday. Can't recall who it was, but I read of one player who played in the Origin game, then was up before dawn on the Saturday to catch a flight and then a long coach trip and then topped the tackle count on the Saturday night.



I think most of the player involved will play against Salford, maybe one or two who usually start might be on the bench, but otherwise we won't be too affected.

right so what if we go and lose? them 2 points may cost us 1st all because of some pointless friendly game? england will still be rubbish come october id rather not risk it tbh

I think we might see Hodgson and King and Joel in the Exiles side and Benny, Moz and Bridge in the England 17 which might result in the side for Salford looking like ..
