| Looking at the remaining fixtures I can't see how Smith can possibly say we're concentrating on a top 8 finish as our form would have to be turned upside down into an unbeaten remaining 5 games and with a huge inferior points against he needs to get real
Huddersfield need just 2 wins to be honest
Wigan the same
Saints will pass 20 pts no problem
That leaves Wakefield already on 22 pts so I just do not see what his logic is unless one of the mentioned clubs have broke the salary cap and the RFL have decided to deduct the points this season........ Mr Smith please!!!

| Would you be happier if he said he wasn't bothering for the next 5 games, and was resigned to the middle 8's?

| Of course he's not going to say that.
The real problem is that he's not been replaced, and fans are left frustrated at the endless unrealistic assessments of our performances. They then come on here to understandably vent their anger.
There comes a time when enough is enough and it's time to move on. Thanks to our current coaching team for all the wonderful memories, but it's now gone stale and time for a different approach. Other clubs are moving forward and tackling their issues, we are standing still.

| I'd rather be in the mid 8's and some meaningful games than to scrape into the super 8's, basically the end of the season for us.

| If the leagues stay the same till the split we'll be playing Leigh, Widnes, London and Fev at home.
Or away games will be:
Catalans, Hull KR & Toulouse
Million pound game here we come.

So you'd rather see warrington potentially relegated than see us home safe?
Whether they're dead rubber games or not, It's the perfect opportunity to blood a load of the youngsters and get rid of the deadwood without the worry of relegation.

Seeing the team relegated to the championship... I can't think of anything more exciting either...

Might be more painful to see the team take a beating in super 8's. but I'd rather be comfortably in Super League and can focus on next year than risking things in middle 8's.
Will be painful travelling to London's ground if that is is what will happen, considering the last time we were in capital was for the cup final.

I'm sure many Hull KR fans thought the same an all. the be safe from the MPG a team has to win 5 out of the 8 games. Warrington have won 5 out of 18 league games this season.
Wanting the team to finish in the bottom 4 just so they can play in a comp that means something would be suicide.

If this is how the fixtures pan out, can anybody hand on heart say that they think Warrington, in it's current form can win the 5 games needed to avoid the million pound game - I know I can't
