Billy B should have answered "How the feck do you think I became a Challenge Cup legend"? and then smacked him in the mouth.

I know they say there is no such thing as bad publicity but it really was awful and just re-enforced all the usual stereotypes. Bacon apologised to bored listeners then rushed back to an interview about sewing. You couldn't make it up! We are the second most watched sport on SKY with 35% of viewers down south, we shouldn't have to feel honoured that 5Live dedicates five minutes to one of British sport's most famous and historic competitions.

what an insult to rl!!!!!!!!! and he actually said after the draw was made that he apologises to all those listeners who dont like rl for the interuption to the program schedule!! you couldnt make it up!!! disgrace

You would have thought (hoped) that Bacon would have had the decency to do a little research into what he was presenting and his special guest.

Did anybody honestly expect anything else/better?



Due to the unique way in which the BBC is funded, when they're good they're very very good, but when it's RL they're worse than useless.
