Watford is as good a place as anywhere - I'll be staying at my parents the night before the match.



Trains from Watford Junction to Wembley Central only take about 10-15 minutes and it's easy to get back to the M1 after.



Only downside is that Watford are playing Leeds United the same day!!!!

Last year we drove to Uxbridge and got the tube in. Very easy to get in and out of.

park at Ruislip tube station - on the right line for Wembley



cost a gob smacking £1 on a Saturday for the whole day........bloody robbing sods





if you fancy lunch go the 2 for 1 pub at the golf course in Ruislip think its open from 11am called the Fairways.



I've parked at the above over 20 times and never had a issue.



hope this helps.......plus there is another 4 or 5 tube stations around Ruislip that you could park on - but i'd say this is the best as has around 50 spaces and at wkends usually not very busy.

Jesus Leeds all over London town

I drove down last year & parked at a school nearby - you can see the arch from the car park & it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Wembley Way from there. Was pricey at £25 but for security, access & peace of mind was happy to pay that - especially as for 4 of us you'd be looking at similar for bus or tube in from where-ever you parked in an unsecure carpark.



If you go onto the Wembley website you will find links from the parking section of it to places like that. You put your car registration in & pay online then your space is guarenteed.

Personally I've always used Stanmore. Right off the motorway, massive car park, right onto the tube. Think it takes about 15 - 20 minutes to Wembley on the Jubilee line.

Brent Cross Shopping centre (free) catch bus 182 £2 per person or black cab rank £10

Perivale tube station car park (£1 a day) catch bus 297 towards Willesden £2 per person

I've parked here twice, M6, M42, M40 (stop at warwick services for a wee!).



Getting away after was good, not many on the tube.
