Can I just ask superwire why the sarcastic post is necessary replying to the original posting
Leeds have announced this morning the signing of Smith on a 4 year deal. So not exactly old news is it.
Yes it was anticipated but was only announced this morning.
This is a rugby league forum and the original poster has posted rugby league news.
So I fail to understand why superwire feels it necessary so show is supreme wit by posting his/her reply.

it was confirmed that Penny was off to Widnes and Lee Smith was coming straight in having Penny's Salary, his shirt number, Jock strap and tub of deep heat.....
and all announced before the Easter fixtures.....
is Easter the new boxing day....?

smiths move from union back to league has certainly been announced before easter anyway..... some of the rumour was right. |

Nobody has left, seems we had enough to sign him on a four year deal starting this season. |

It'll surely be a case of Leeds having enough to fit him under the cap for the remainder of this season.
A bit of shuffling may need to be done for next year as Leeds will have to pay a full years wages for him.
