On another topic somone mentioned that the best signing that we have ever made is Morley. Although a fantastic player my personal favourite in my lifetime is Jonathan Davies. What are others best signing?

I agree with Smith but player wise who do you think. Davies was great in that spell and played some outstanding off the cuff stuff .

Jiffy is a legend, I'll give you that - and I love watching him on TV now as well - at least the pies know how everyone else feels when we have to listen to Phil Clarke on Sky go on about Wigan all the time......

not because he was f---in awesome but because when we signed Alfie i saw attitudes and expectations change. Wire seem to have had a more ambitious attitude and fortunes have slowly changed for the better and for me he was the initial catalyst.

Never saw Brian Bevan play, but we certainly got value for money. In my years of watching the Wire it has to be Parry Gordon, 21 years service.

Beat me to it... Best half back we've ever had. Both Langer & Johns were greats but it was never their stints at Warrington where they produced their best.
