The new "owners" of Salford Red Devils will need a new scapegoat now.

There is talk of them going into administration and maybe looking for new owners.

I’m gutted for Salford. A good club who have made the best of limited resources. People won’t like it in the short term, but it’s prime for a merger of Oldham, Rochdale and Salford. Lots of grass roots across that belt, and if they can connect with the fan base, they could rebuild stronger. 

Just had a look on Deviltalk and they are saying he was sacked that he did not resign and that another director as gone.

Salford's ground is quite a bit closer to the HJ than it is to Rochdale, maybe we should merge with them and form West Manchester.
