You all need to calm down and get real. A top NRL star is going to cost £500k plus, minimum. That is not far off our a third of our cap. So unless the Doc gets his marquee signing through, it is not going to happen. Unless we back up with journeymen.

Think about it, the salary cap is balls. If marwan says I will pay u half a mill and it will come out of my pocket and £50k a year from the club. Does the RFL have the power to ask to c the docs accounts?

yes failure to disclose can lead to expulsion would it happen is another story if Koucash could bring Slater or anothor TOP star over it would bring so much positive column inches for E.S.L they would ignore it i think, pay over the top wages for 5 or 6 over the hill ex stars and they will look into your finances. just my opinion mind

He's not that bad.His problem is he doesn't seem to understand that you can't carry a ball loosely with one arm into a 2 man tackle on your 20 metre line.He's done it time and time again for us.

Saying that,he can also make a darting burst and do a great off load to set up a try.Swings and roundabouts,but his mistakes are sometimes very costly...much prefer Cockayne at fullback.

Eden did well underneath the high ball. It's something they obviously targeted before the game.

However, I thought his positional play wasn't great; I thought he wasn't deep enough for a couple of Widnes kicks, and they caught him out by kicking early a couple of times. Nevertheless, not a bad debut all in all.
