Every cloud...

Matt Parish was never first choice... he wasn't even 2nd or 3rd choice... the club made a right royal hash of the whole process and are likely to do just the same again. Parish was a desperate choice as they didn't want to come back from Australia with nobody. What we got was somebody who didn't know anything about the club... hence the reason it was probably so easy to talk him into it. He got here... and it wasn't a pretty picture... most of us knew that anyway.



It's hard to know where to begin... and my position as a moderator on here prevents me from saying exactly what I think.



Maybe those who have defended everything the club do in recent weeks... those who have a pop at any of us with the slightest negative comment... will now take off those rose tinted glasses and realise what we have here.... a great big bloody mess of a club.

No it doesn't. Just don't swear or say anything libellous.

Well done, Matt. You are the first coach to exit Salford without their reputation being so low that their career is effectively finished.

I tried to tell a few home truths last week hoping to break things in gently but you still get the blind faith brigade ignoring everything!



One day as this is only the tip of the iceberg they will finally take those specs off mate!

it just shows how much the board etc care about the club - they dont - all the wilky is great and simms are great people should wake up. They dont care about Salford if they did they would have made the changes as Parish said and we all can see are needed. Its not all about money its about professionalism and we are a joke.



All these idiots who go on about Parish being 2nd 3rd or 5th choice etc should take heed who appointed him? Their top choice is at Hull cos we wouldn't wait.



How can Parish's reputation be tarnished, the bloke came in and acted honestly and told people the truth -which they didnt like - tarnished? rubbish it will be enhaced - everyone with in the game knows how badly this club is run.

Not sure I agree with that.



I feel let down because he had a job to do and he walked. There may be personal reasons but if he really wanted to change things at the club or had issues with certain people at the club he should have tried to work his way round them.



Lots of people in lots of jobs have had issues within their working lives. They don't all walk.
