Quote Stew2="Stew2"It's the cost that puts me off going. Putting prices up £1 every season is way above the inflation rate, coupled with appalling catering inside the ground (cans of Tetley's poured by some filthy chav-in-a-box into a plastic glass - can't they learn from Millennium Magic?). I dread to think where we'll be in 3 years time.
If they had stayed at £14 for a few seasons we wouldn't have seen the 50% of fans walk away from the game. It's not the same at other clubs where attendances are increasing (*awaits the cherry-picking of Bradford in rebuttal*)'"
I hope that the Chairman and other directors don't bother with this forum, as if they did they would surely feel like walking away from it all with all the negative comments etc.
In three years time we will be well entrenched in the new ground with all that it offers, seat prices that are reasonable for a brand new facility, I have paid up front for two years so have my family,as we feel that we get a good deal from the club.
The catering will/should meet anyone's requirements as the company who I understand have the franchise currently operate in other sports stadium's very successfully but I am sure that it wont be very long before someone is complaining over the price of beer, the colour of the staff uniforms, the stewards are not like they were at the Willows, bring back Tetleys etc.etc.
The on site car parking will be possibly have more spaces than any other SL club, this should calm the fears of both home and away supporters over security etc.
Finally a couple of points-
(1)Every sport's club that I frequent serve beer in plastic glasses especially inside the actual ground area.
(2)If the beer is that bad don't buy it.
