Think Cas just about deserved it. They had the better field position for most of the game and we couldn't take our chances. Thought we might nick it but Chase's 40/20 was probably the thing that tipped it in their favour.



Less said about Bentham the better. Absolutely pathetic refereeing. I'm all for a referee not going overboard with the penalties and allowing some leeway, but he did not police the ruck at all during the game. Castleford took the p[ii[/iss tonight with their lying on and holding down, and not once did he penalise them for it. It should have been cut out early because once they realised they could get away with it they just carried on with it throughout.

Makes a change. Usually us getting penalised for sod all and the opposition getting away with everything.

that was a very tough game, Cas edged it.. but that Ref was fooking awful.

Ref missed a fair few high shots from your lot, so we'll call it level for the "laying on".



Might well have been a different game had your scrum half kicked the conversions (didnt he miss loads against Wakey?).



Ultimately I thought we just about deserved to nick it by a point. Tough game, tough conditions, but satisfying 2 points.

what about that high shot on danny orr by, i think, patten after he had kicked the ball not one official spotted that or did and ignored it?!

Hang on at least 3 occasions in the first half when Cas should've been penalised for high shots but weren't, however the lying on and generally slowing the play the ball down was ridiculas but Cas to be fair soon learned and used it to their advantage after we got on a role early, if I'm honest it actually ruined the game for me and as has been said already they were a little bit more clinical at crucial times and in Rangi Chase they have a real game winner, that 40/20 was unbelievable in every way.

how can u complain about cas slowing the play down when salford were doing it aswell, i believe your coach admitted slowing the game down against wire so that u were able to win. and then carried this tactic on against cas.

The one that you got a penalty for do you mean? The one that lead to another penalty straight afterwards that you got your first points from?

The ref was poor though. Yet we had the chance to win it and didn't. I would be much more worried about your performance than we are ours. I'm actually encouraged by ours of late.

Well we won on Friday night against an improving side, and depending what spin you put on it we've lost just 1 of our last 5, so i'm not overly worried
