| Quote kendall17="kendall17"Fortunately, they weren't Leeds fans and infact were fans from a lower league. I cant remember what flag they had though. Just because their bus said Leeds on it or what ever doesn't mean they came from there. It says ing OXO on the side of buses but they dont sell it on there do they?'"

| Said Monks were BARROW supporters (unless there was another group of lads dressed as Benedictines) and were goading more or less everyone after the game as we walked away from OT.

| ive just watched a dvd i bought from leeds rhinos club shop today ,it was about last few games of the season and build up outside OLD TRAFFORD talking to fans good friendly banter till those gadgers dressed as monks burst on the scene and i must admit their behaviour was quite agressive to say the least .
the chant they were chanting may give a clue ,it was OH HALLY HALLY HALLY HALLY HALIFAX.
Ive always found Halifax folk great ,just shows every club must have a few

| I went with a load of pals from Saints and had a great day and laugh with fans from every club especially Leeds, I only saw one pr!ck all day who was a saints/everton fan who was a mid 30's 5ft 4" midget in Stretford End T2 and was determined to have a scrap with a young bunch of bladdered Wigan RL fans who were causing no harm at all. When the wannabe hooligan was spoken about trying to join in the good atmosphere and stop looking for trouble his response was 'are you under cover old bill' or 'are you one of uniteds lads' he really was a tool and it was quite laughable, especially when his wish was granted and a 'retired' united lad wispered something in his ear, the prune was off sharpish and everyone carried on the carnival atmosphere.
Great day out and great advert for the game.

Quote Red Preacher="Red Preacher"Just a couple of things JJ. Actually, may I 1st point out that I'm somewhat a turkey fan of yours. Most of your posts are top. In this case I really do think your a little off the mark. 1st, how many sheep do you think actually live in Leeds never mind how many of them are being man-raped. Being a city, about as many as in Salford... 0. 2nd, I live in Littleborough at the far side of Rochdale. It's in Lancashire. It's full of idiots, thugs, perverts and curry houses. Oh, and a confirmed sheep shagging incident! (The curry houses aren't a problem to me though.) 7 miles up the road in Yorkshire is Todmorden which has far less idiots, thugs, perverts and curry houses. On top of that it is a quite wonderful little town. With a great feeling of good will and friendliness.
Hard to admit at 1st I know.
I'm sure there are lots of more appropriate reasons to pick on the Leeds folk. Their awful accent for 1.
Now please apply that JJ magic in a funnier and more accurate manner I beg of you sir!'"
Wrong.
