| Ok then. Let's look at it this way. If this incident had taken place at the other end of the pitch, what do people think the decision would have been? In my view, it would have been a straight red card and a penalty try.
And if it had been Gareth Hock sliding in feet first to take a player out, he would have been banned for a dozen matches.

| When did we acquire this new found victim mentality?
It wouldn't even have been a red card in what many RL fans amusingly call 'wendyball' yet people are bizarrely demanding some sort of justice.

What! Sliding in, feet first against a player not even in possession of the ball is not a sending off offence, even in 'Wendy ball'. Are you for real?

It should've been a penalty to Salford but all the talk of red cards and judiciary are not for me.
If people want to claim an injustice then fair enough but I don't see it that way.

| I'm a Wigan fan and i thought that S O'L was lucky to get away with it, for me it was a penalty and a yellow card... Sau blew a certain try , he had Matty Ashurst and Rangi Chase on his inside but chose to go for glory, i don't think the end result would have been much different but those 2 moments were pivotal for the game

| No charge'no contact made, sliding in with feet was legitimate.
I'm off to have my eyes checked, because I was convinced there was can't act.
I look forward to the new style slide tackles.

| Don't use Specsavers, you're only repaying the refs.

| I think it was Rangi’s fault for having the audacity to try the short drop out against Wigan at the DW Stadium. How dare a Salford player attempt such a thing that implicated a golden boy and model professional such as O’Loughlin. It’s a disgrace and poor Sean could have been badly injured when he overstretched and attempted that two footed tackle.
Furthermore the incident put the referee in a very difficult position in front of vociferous home crowd. Ban Chase for several matches like Hock and fine Koukash again, thats what I say

| And absolutely nothing mentioned at the disciplinary hearing. This was one of the worst 'tackles' I have seen in over 44 years of watching the game. It was deliberate, it was late, it was a leg breaker. An absolute disgrace that he wasn't even charged.
