Given the rumours that have been circulating for weeks/months now does it really matter?
Does Theo play on Sunday? When is Dobson due back?
It would appear that heels are being dug in - Dr K saying it will need to be a world record fee (what is he smoking?) |

Patterson is only on a one-year deal anyway, so his contract is up at the end of the season. Heard similar stories myself but the club he had been speaking to was Leigh!  Apparantly his agent has advised him to stay where he his, as a high profile head-coach (no prizes for guessing who) will be in charge next season.
I don't know what to believe at the moment though. |

There does come a time to dig your heels in, but rather than being so bullish when things like this crop up, Dr Koukash would probably be better considering why this has happened in the first place. If he fixed those elements, maybe things like this wouldn't crop up so much. It doesn't seem like this is related to money, Salford claim to have beaten Fages demands and on longer terms.
I'm not sure how cashed up the Dragons are at the moment, but would like to see them take Fages back. The best French players should always play for a French team to encourage the sports development over there. Saints certainly won't be paying a world record fee for anyone, I certainly can't see us reaching six figures.'"
I wouldn't pay over £60k for him. |

It's obvious Theo Fages has been tapped up and his agent and the interested club have asked Fages to hand in the request now when we are down on our luck. Fages isn't going anywhere until next year at the earliest so why hand in the request now?

It's clearly not about the money,he wants to play for a more successful club.
Good luck to him.
Really sorry that we're losing him.
He's had a regular starting place this season,for most of the time,so we've seen his strengths and weaknesses.
He's currently the third best halfback at the club,although he generally stays fit !
My main worry isn't about Theo,it's whether it's part of a wider malaise.

With hindsight we now know the impossible is possible that we can have our first choice 6, 7 & 9 out for at least 6 games at the same time. Theo has done his best and it's lucky we have had him available for this period but to be honest I prefer Chase & Dobson.
