get to irlam social or tiger moth before game have a pint and pie ,get on cadishead cars mini bus for £2 return.

The better pubs in Irlam are all a bit far away, unless you used a taxi. Think Peel Green/Patricroft is a better choice. Would be great if eventually, a Brewers Fayre sorta place was to open near the ground.

irlam social and tiger are tidy little boozers,what kind of rugby fan are you,take it you ,ve not been to yorkshire or some of the nice pubs in wigan ,oldham or leigh,keep to sale and the kick and clap prick.

Park locally in Patricroft/Peel Green and risk walking across the M60 sliproads

I’m astounded people are sticking up for the club on this one, then again on this website nothing surprises me! The club highlighted the parking as one of the features of the stadium, leading people to believe that if you turned up on the day of the game you pay for parking! None of this booking on-line nonsense, I've never heard anything so ridiculous, so if there is only say 100 parks on the car park and people turn up and our refused permission to park yet there is ample spaces to park on. Nothing is ever black or white with this club, infuriates so many times I refuse to let it wind me up and just laugh and the club and how shambolic it really is. On a lighter note I hope Eccles / Irlam clubs profit out of this stadium, anyone who has been to the LSV to note the amateur club a stone throw away from the ground and I have to say I was very impressed by there facilities on my visit.

The problem is that it's not the club's decision and not something they control. The stadium company are the ones at fault as they've contracted it out and allowed Ticketline to operate the car park in this way. Yet again, it's one of those little things we've lost control of that could backfire on us.



On the other hand, the club are obviously the ones doing the £1 buses, which is something worth applauding.







The car park is free. The bus to the ground costs £1. Distinct difference. You could park for free and walk if you really wanted to.

Yeah i totally agree with you PT, the club seems to fail, or fall short in every department and the love fest back slapping brigade will always see a positive in all the board do. It is shambolic the way the club is run, and it all boils down to one mans love for paying the shortfall. I was very impressed with LSV, although i'll spare judgement on Barton until the 7th Jan. But as 1st impressions go, to me the Lsv looks a better stadium, our terraces are a lot shallow like the love fest brigade.
