Well let's just call it artistic licence shall we? As I said on the first post the guy who did it has never been to the Willows and isn't a sports fan. He was just working from some photo's and I think he assumed that the lights went right round. It was something I noticed when I got the painting home but if you let your eye be drawn into the corner between North Stand and Main Stand you don't really notice the fore ground and what is left is the magnificent view of the Old Girl in all her glory.

How much would people be willing to pay for a quality print of the painting? Web sites I've found so far suggest that for an A3 size print on quality canvass style paper it would cost around £15-£20. What do people think of that price (that would include a small profit for Forever Reds!!!)

very good picture, which brings out the history of Rugby league as well in portraying it as a sport born under the heavy industrial storm clouds of the north, it is representing an autumn time at the club with the shadows on the pitch and awaiting a new dawn in the summer months at a new place.
