Interesting that Koukash is not mentioned as part of these disgruntled chairman who are set to clash with the RFL over the proposed league restructure. You would have guessed he would have been part of this considering his previous criticism of the RFL.

It may be that he's in favour of anything to improve funding but is willing to listen on whwther or not SL should separate more from the rest of RL. Neil Hudgell seems to be leading this latter aspect.

Also, and there have been a few faux pas, normally a businessman of the standard of the good doctor would be aware of the effect of such comments on other clubs who may feel we're pulling up the drawbridge now we can.

I reckon he is keeping his powder dry, why be the one to cause upset all the time? Maybe he is looking for a deal with other Chairmen around something he wants, ie cap increase. I am sure he will have his say, when the time is right for Salford Red Devils.
