are these the same lazy players that have let us down on many occasions, at least he went to the gym.

perhaps he will change things, because if he doesn't then Salford will be finished after 3 years.

Most fans will embrace the new stadium, the problem for most of us is the stadium is the only new thing.



I ahve never felt so disillusioned about the club or sport as I do now.



We have rumours of disharmony yet again and players bitching about a coach. Maybe it is time for these senior players to sling their hooks.



Lack of recruitment- we only seem to have signed a couple of decent players the rest are journeymen, the squad looks thin.



The club manage to make season tickets purchase seem over complicated



The lack of thought for fans. We should have a free day to inspect the ground and be able to purchase a season ticket there and then.



Marketing where is it?



The shadow of Sale- whilst most accept that we need to generate income and sharing is the obvious solution most fans worry about the publicity we will lose as the MEN is more interested in Union and Kennedy wrecking things. I am worried we will become a 2nd class club in our ground.

Change things when he doesnt want to be there and isnt present at training - no there not the lazy players you refer to - they wernt slagging him off just telling me how he's been acting and what he's been doing since he got back.



Why is everybody so misguided - that MP is the man to turn us around ! I'm not saying he cant but everyone bases there oppinion on the fact that he has "balls" and "speaks the truth" because he came out and annilhated the club from top to bottom ? his exact words when he'd finished slating the club were "Salford want me to do a Job..and I want to do a job..but those jobs are 2 completely different thing"



Players have told me he's annoyed he now has to make a go of the players he has not the players he wanted to bring in.. when he was told he would be able to change the squad completely. ! again i'm not saying thats right but thats what's happening.



Some genuine, level headed players basically think he's 3 sheets to the wind, has poor man management and general wild behaviour. How are we going to build a good team when the vast majority of players feel this way?



I'm not saying dont back the coach but people need to open there eye's theres allot going on behind closed doors that people dont realise.

Felt like this for the last couple of seasons now, must admit I would like more than anything for the team to prove us doubters wrong, but I really think this season could be an embarrassing one on the field. The squad is much weaker than last year and all this talk of unrest off the field can't be good.

The views they gave were that he's not respected amoung the players and the other main problem which is he's upset those above him, once again i'm not saying that what he came out and said was wrong or right, but it certainly hasnt gone unoticed and is being delt with, accordingly if he doesnt want to be there this will suit both parties.

I'm sure him leaving will suit the board more than him. He came in and voiced off apparently on promises that the club had made to him that were it seems unfounded and untrue. It seems to me the. Club are reaping the rewards of their own inadequate attempts to run a SL club. I'm sure it would be easier to bring in another McRae type who will play the game , keep quiet and go through the motions.



I believe that MP has then potential to be a game changer for the club. If the board refuse to back him and help him then they can shove my season pass up their ass, 'cos I won't be getting another after this season.

and I suppose if they back him and he doesnt hit reasonable performance targets then he's to balme? Or would it still be the club to blame for dangling him a carrot all that time ago ? The club cant win either way, MP wont look bad either way, thats why I think he came in so early an slated the club so publically. If he goes, he's made the reasons's why he's leaving clear and who can blame him... If he stays, and doesnt hit reasonable target's who can blame him because he was mislead.



As Ive said the players ive spoken to have made it clear he's unhappy, and doesnt want to be there, and we can all say (with a degree of hohnesty) who can blame him, he has a meeting with the board who are also unhappy...



So much drama but the board are largely to blame for this mess, Salford wont attract a decent established coach until things drastically change. Other wise its unknown - unproven - Shaun Mcrae types...

What a suprise Salford players moaning about the coach! Grow a set of fu*cking balls and deal with it. No matter who we have as coach they always seem to moan. Maybe Matt is making them train harder than what they what they'd like....

If these players are pi$$ed off then let them go.

If the coach is also pi$$ed off then again let him go.

As a certain Manager once said "players and coaches come and go but the club and what it stands for is always there"



Blue seats rumours of pi$$ed off players coaches and fans and the season has not even started.

It had better be Hollands pies at the ground and Strongbow on sale or thats it I am not going to set foot in the place.
