Did I miss something? I read in the programme there was going to be a minutes scilence before tonights game and I don't recall it happening.

I think they forgot about it and did it at half time. As if things couldnt get any worse

The minutes silence was a debacle. As stated it happened at half time and i can only wonder what on earth the thinking was behind that. And as CCNo1fan has rightly pointed out just when you thought things couldent get much worse we balls up a minutes silence for a loyal supporter.

We were sat in the family stand and couldn't hear anything that was said over the tannoy, so had no idea there was a minutes silence going on until our daughter noticed the message on the scoreboard.



The vast majority of people around us were talking, not out of disrespect, just purely because they didn't know it was happening.



Hope there has been an apology to the family.

Yes I did apologise to Ron's family who had turned up(some from Leeds had travelled over especially ) & hope when his ashes are scattered at the ground the organisation will be better to redeem the club with his family after nearly 50 years of support from Ron.

If anyone is interested in showing their respects at that time, I will post on here nearer the date which is possibly end of September to coincide with Rons birthday.

No -one could hear the announcement especially in the wilows end where all we ever hear is a incohrent droan.

There should be a proper one held prior to the next home game, all the relatives brought down and given a VIP day out and a full apology from the club.

Yes but I think it was in Welsh, well thats what it sounded like where I was stood.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm glad I didn't talk through it. I took my lad to the loo at half time so will have missed it. I think that is awful and hope they do it again and make a better job of it next week.

I'm sure it was mentioned a full minutes silence would be done prior to next friday's game, I mean how do you forget to do a minutes silence for anyone before a game this sums up the present state of the club, Ron derserves better than that.Disgusted and disgruntled.

The club is a mess how do you forget a minutes silence? needs a complete shake up from top to bottom.
