was apparently the attendance last night....gotta say it felt more like 5k plus but either way..still very poor.



I know we have been bad at times this year but our crowds are still a masive worry. look at other similar teams like wakey ....they av got an increase in crowds this yr depsite playing worse than us!!?

perhaps Wakey get more away fans visiting, on the verge of a cup semi-final I would have thought that Leeds would have have brought more fans over, at least 1500 but only half that at most, i know we have to build our own crowds but again the game was only advertised to the regulars, marketing is poor and for once we gave a decent performance in the second half. Our last to home matches are againts clubs with p155 poor away following one because they are from the south of France the other perhaps they are on tags I don't know. So it is upto the marketing to not just marker one match a year (ie the last one) but all games.



I actually thought about 5k+ last night but perhaps the taxman count can in again.

I agree with that BigPev. I thought about 5k. what we expecting for catlans game then? no away fans but it would be awful if last game at willows only got 4-5 k. ......should be full!



the games/club events etc need to be marketed to 'non fans' not just on the clubs website!!

Since starting a new job a couple of weeks ago, I've met a few people who used to go and watch Salford. The main reasons they stopped going were that it's getting too expensive, and the poor rugby on display. I don't think ticket prices would matter too much though if we were playing well and winning on a regular basis.



I bet ranking the teams in order of average attendance wouldn't be too different from the actual league table. Apart from Bradford, but didn't they sell really cheap season tickets? Couldn't we do something similar?

It hasn't really though. Our crowds haven't changed significantly in the 10 years or so that I've been watching.

That's despite several marketing pushes and the very occasional winning streak.



New stadium, new start. If crowds do grow at Barton it will be an influx of new blood. I can't help but think the 3000 regulars are EVERYONE who gives a sh*t.

sadly if thats true we may as well hand licence back now cos that wont be good enough. For What its worth...i thinnk theres 5-6 who are either hard core...or 'have been' fans but stopped goin. I guess the last game of the season will be interesting as youd think anyone whos been intesretd or is interested..would be at the final game at the willows

I personally only think there will be 4,500 last game of the season which is an embarrassment.

Just done a quick bit of research (not very scientific but......), taking the Leeds home match as my research model here are the stats which do not lie, but does show how consistent we are on the field against Leeds at the Willows.
