Time is running out for our coach of 4 years.... injuries/circumstances etc granted this is a very substandard performance against a side who are expected to be near the bottom. We look worse than last year and no lessons from last years embarassing defending learnt. What have they been doing all pre-season??? They look so unfit its untrue! Its cringeworthy. If things don't improve in the next month or two he has to go, and this isn't a knee jerk reaction, not after 4 years of cr*p rugby and no progress. We have been battered in all the friendlies bar Swinton (who gave us a game for most of it!)



They should be made to walk home after this, God helps us on Friday....

Godwin should get banned for that, cheapshot nothing less. Don't want to see that and shouldn't be condoned. They showed more urgency to get involved in that mini scuffle than they did in the whole game. What an embarassment it has been today for Salford RLFC, Sir John will not be happy and I don't blame him

And before we hear shouts of Its the first game,its the first of many games with this coach,we have got no better ,He seems able to coach skills OUT of players,no increase in crowds,no better reporting of the team.



Enough ,we need change before too long,next week might be enough to change opinion of others if today did not.

something that no one has mentioned yet is, what have Veivers and Alker added to the team in pre season? Seems very little after today and our pre season performances. Plus Mike Eccles as conditioner? Team looked more unfit than last season!

Don't really think we can afford to get rid of McRae and bring in someone else, unless we promote from within until the end of the season. I'll be seriously disappointed if we don't have a new coach for 2012 though.

All the hype about new players and what do we get the same performance as last year.

Common denominator... the coach

He should not have been given the ridiculous contract he has in the first place.

People say we can not afford to get rid of him, I say we can not afford to keep him.

And before you say the coach does not make players drop the ball miss tackles etc well he does set out the tactics and defensive drills.

He also appears to have done with Holdsworth what he has done with a lot of the players and that is coach the flair side of their game out of them.

Do the honourable thing McRae and please go.
