Even better it was all done with mostly Lancashire Lads.

Fantastic result today. Was following it between Sky, Twitter and Radio Lancs. Soooooo nervous but glad i got to see the winning runs hit

I just started a thread about this on the Warrington forum.



Can you imagine how I feel, Wire win the league last week, Lancs win it this week, this is the greatest week of my sporting supporting life. England are top cricket side in the world as well.



Things can change round in sport so fast...early 2009 Lancashire were dog turd, Warrington were bottom of the league under Lowes, England were getting bowled out for bugger all by the West Indies and Peter Moores was sacked

. And now look.



How great to see Glen Chapple one of my favourite players as a kid and the last link with the glory days of the 1990s, to lead them to glory, and achieve something that even those guys never did (although I have to say I enjoyed that team infinitely more, because county cricket was better back then).

never been that nervous for a long time about the cricket but i am buzzing we won the league.

just shows even with no money and having local talent what you can achive and hoping salford can do the same next season.
