Got to agree with RW....I don't think we need another defensive minded coach but someone who can improve our dismal attacking options..
I think we have got players with the ability for attacked minded play but we don't use it enough, Ratchfords try on Friday is a good example. |

Motivational yes - Defence patterns - yes - but thats where it must stop. I presume this appointment is a reward for loyalty which is fair enough but keep Malcolm away from any attacking options from the coaching staff.
I can only presume that Stuart will now be appointed attacking coach to show the threequarters how to part with the ball at all times!!!!!
Yes loyalty is an important quality but its not the be and end all and we need to see a coach who can create some attacking options to alleviate the boredom suffered in our style of play these past 10+ years (since in fact Darren Brown left).
The two common denominators in that period are Malcolm & Stuart so you can see where I am coming from.
We need a CHANGE.

Good news about Alker, i'd also like to see Paul Sculthorpe being brought in as an assistant as posted on another thread. Not only will he give us some good attacking input, i'm sure he can help bring some higher quality players to the club.

What? Could this man have anymore influence on the team? Is it a coincidence that everyone else involved in the Jacksonville fracases has been shown the door? (Bar Leuluai who was probably screwed by Leigh's relegation and signed for peanuts.)
I look forward to plenty of unsuccessful 40-20 attempts from dummy-half next year. |
