While Leigh continue with what looks like a big choke, it's worth pondering on whether, without RL, Gareth Hock would have spent a lot of time in prison. Mind you, the Leigh No 2 looks like he's a chip off Hock's block.



Quite glad we won't be seeing those particular characters bringing that sort of thuggery to SL.

it appears that Leigh were either over rated by both the media and their fans or they just really aren't a very good side



and again we saw the grubiness that hasn't endeared themselves to neutrals this season







so for all the talk, gloating, boasting and blustering, Leigh's season finishes with another heavy defeat,



i feel for the good fans of leigh, but can't help but have a wry smile to some of the gobshiites!

They are a very exciting,expansive,off-the cuff side who play brilliantly.



That is why Schofield has suggested their coach Paul Rowley becomes the next England head coach.



That is why they have improved and today scored the grand total of 6 points to make it 6 whole points in 120 minutes of second half 'flair' in their qualifier home games against Hull KR,Wakefield and Bradford.





As for their discipline - try watching them when they ain't on the telly.

I'm just glad there's a Club with a bigger bell-end in charge than my very own Dr Koukash.

It's also nice to have somewhere to dump our very own trouble causers and hyper-bell ends at the end of the season.

I think alot of fans of other clubs feel the same and have a real dislike for Leigh, i certainly do.

All season on there board they have being giving it large as they have bullied part time teams using thug tactics.

Come the 8s they were high on confidence and have been handed a real lesson on RL by all the full time teams and Halifax who i have been impressed with really stepped it up in the 8s and been there or there abouts.

Im really glad their bubble has burst and they wont be in SL next year.

Maybe the arrogance from there fans will stop now, and i can see quite alot or trolling appearing on their board today and tomorrow which i will more than likely potake in with great pleasure all in fun ofc

At least the "we have a lower salary cap" excuse can't be used by Leigh. Ultimately they have been easily beaten by two teams who have exactly the same cap.

Hopefully people will now realise that running through awful Championship defences every week doesn't mean these players are superstars. Listening to Terry O'Connor talking about "the real Leigh" whenever they tried to move the ball around was embarrassing, of course they looked like world-beaters doing that as a full-time team against the likes of Workington and Hunslet.

i don't particularly dislike leigh, i enjoyed watching their cup exploits, but some of their fans cockiness because of that hasn't endeared themselves to many people, people who are only too happy to now do some gloating of their own now they have been found out as not that good.

No issue with gloating, but some of it goes far beyond that imo , we are a club hopefully building both on and off the pitch, lots of jealosy on display from many labeling themselves as RL fans 1 st and foremost, plenty of hypocrisy on display

i don't think anyone is jealous of a championship club, especially not fans of established super league clubs, most people didn't have a problem with Leigh until some Leigh fans started spouting off.



i hope Leigh get it together and get into SL because it needs some fresh meat
