Part of the agreement for Samuel's breaking of his Wigan contract is that Wigan have first right of refusal if he returns to Super League.

Are you his lawyer? Have you seen said contract clause?

Has Sam Tomkins stock risen whilst he's been down under or, will he come back on a reduced contract ?

Aren't those the people they are leaving behind?

It has been widely reported when he left Wigan that they had first option on his return as part of his release.

Not sure if the pre arranged fixed salary could be enforced though.

It would be interesting if he came back and signed for someone other than Wigan, can't see it though.



Will be good to have him back in SL, here's hoping there's not a union shaped sting in the tail of this story.

Same thing happened with Harris where Leeds apparently had first refusal. However, Harris had the balls to tell Leeds where to go and signed for Bradford, whereas Tomkins will quite happily to let Wigan dictate his future and go back there to a hero's welcome.
