You have to do a whole lot more than meet those minimum standards. If your bid doesnt excel anyway, then you wont get it. If you are worried about scraping through the minimum standards you may aswell not bother. |

Bear in mind that Wigan were deducted four points in a league where it was two points for a win; in the Championship this year its three points for a win, effectively making this alleged offence half as serious. |

Any investor who is capable of putting Leigh in a position to be realistic SL candidates then they will be so far ahead of these minimum standards that a technical breach of the salary cap 4 years previously would be easily overcome.
What you seem to have backtracked towards is your (deliberate) confusion over whether or not this technical breach will immediately discount Leigh applying. Which only brings us back to J.C's original statement "give me proof as to why that should happen" |
