Either way, I'm happy Oldham and especially Haydock get some well needed and well deserved coverage! I suppose that's what the streams are all about? Promoting lower league clubs to national media?

Why the hell should London lose their home advantage just to appease the broadcasters and spectators???

....and lets be honest. Alot of us are fed up to the back teeth of hearing about how wonderful Toronto are. Incidentally if you have a look at the defence put forward for Fuis tackle the other week, it just about sums up their colours which will become far more apparent within 18 months or so. Only my prediction but lets see what transpires. Still wondering if a couple of their players will actually be allowed into Canada

Personally I'm glad the BBC are showing the Oldham v Haydock game.

Yeah, happy with it. I'll probably make the effort to go see both the foreign teams in action at some point so this one's a bonus.

The Oldham connection will give the BBC a chance to wheel out Kevin Sinfield for a bit of pre-match heartlands 'build up'.

Haydock is a team that I have thought about a lot since I was a child. They have made a great impression on the rugby league world over the decades. What a wonderful opportunity now to see them in high definition.
