| James Graham is a fantastic player, but as a prop he needs to not let other players get under his skin, as that is a clear sign of weakness, he needs to channel his petulance and not let it get to him, apart from looking like a stroppy little pr!ck other decent props will use this against him.

| Quote Damo-Leeds="Damo-Leeds"Let be honest he only makes them yards because he has to. If Jamie Peacock was in this Saints team then he’d have to make all them hard yards that graham does. We’ll only ever get to see how good James Graham is if he ever gets to be in a pack that is as good as that we have at Leeds.
Till then he’s just a big fish in a little pond IMO.'"
Quote Damo-Leeds="Damo-Leeds"Sinfield is a fantastic captain for the Leeds Rhinos and will put his best effort in week in, week out. When Sinfield is playing at his best he’s the best in the world at what he does. Doesn’t stand out too much but he doesn’t get creamed over by the media either.'"
Quote Damo-Leeds="Damo-Leeds"McGuire IMO is the best stand off in the world. A once in a lifetime player that will be impossible to replace when he goes'"
F*cking hell.

| I don't get all this about him needing to calm down his petulance. Aside from not shaking hands at the end of the game against Leeds I don't think it really changed much. He was annoyed after the chicken wing from JJB but about a minute later he was charging the ball up and putting Gilmore in for a try. As far as I can see he does sulk a bit but not to the detriment of his game.

| When Graham does it, it's petulance and he needs to grow up because he's showing weaknesses. When Peacock does it, it's sheer grit and determination; it makes him 'ard.
How often when you're watching a game do you see a bit of handbags being thrown? Players getting p*ssed off with a certain challenge from a player, does that mean they're all petulant and need to stop showing weakness?

As far as I know, Peacock has never at the end of a game thrown his toys out of the pram and tried to get his teammates not to shake hands with the opposing team because they've been a little bit rough with them.

Correct, although being a Wigan fan Graham is the sort of prop I would love to have at Wigan. If he had of been injured for any long periods of time this year then they would have lost alot more games than what they have done, he carries them up the pitch pretty much by himself. I just hope because of how many games he's played already he doesn't get burnt out to soon.

That was one incident, but is that a weakness to James Graham's game? Does not shaking somebody's hand making him a poorer player?
I think we've all seen Jamie Peacock get fired up in games, we've seen him throw fists and we've seen him grip players, did he do this humorously or was he wound up?
I just think it's bollox that people think getting wound up by a chicken wing tackle means it's a weakness to his game.

Correct.
James Lowes was the same. A petulanbt, gobby player who relied on these characteristics to give his the game the edge.
I seem to recall Gary Mercer trying to wind him up by feigning a zip across his mouth in a Challenge Cup semi final which backfired spectacularly.

| Quote Clan-destine="Clan-destine"My god, how can the guy be overated, Damo have you seen his stats compared to any other prop in the league, he is one of the few players that will make an impact in the NRL,
Bet you wouldnt be sayin this if he was a Leeds player.'"
I have seen the stats and they’re impressive I agree. But he’s punching way above his weight and is carrying the saints pack this season. Because of this he’s seen as someone whose he’s not - the best prop forward in super league by a country mile when in fact it’s a no brainer between Peacock and Morley. Graham IMO needs to be put with a good pack in order to see how great he is.
Now to say that I’ve got Leeds blinkers on is absolutely wrong. I wouldn’t mind seeing Graham in a Leeds shirt because he’ll be good enough for us as are a number of players good enough for us like Kirke, Worrall, Watkins, JJB and a few others. After all a world class team isn’t made of superstars. Its made of the likes I’ve just mentioned and for me that’s fine.
But in the Leeds team we have world class players like Burrow, McGuire, Senior, Sinfield, Peacock, Hall and Webb to name a few. I’m just afraid Graham doesn’t fit in the glatico of these players and is a very average player punching above his weight.

| Damo Leeds - are you the most over-rated rlfans poster ever? Because you know diddly-squat about rugby league...among everything else in life.
Peacock, okay, he's fantastic.
But it goes Graham > the rest of the Leeds thugs.
