I don't think anybody can get carried away.
We got totally exposed in the first half and i'm not sure we've got the players to come in and strengthen us up enough to win next week but we have to look at the positives and Tomkins, Shenton, Eastmond, Crabtree and Sinfield were definatly that. |

What are you talking about, Mcguire was shocking today, what that has to do with Tomkins Im not sure, the lad went OK. |

I agree. In the second half he did well but looked like he didnt want to know in the first and didnt get involved at all. Once his confidence grew and with the introduction of Eastmond he seemed to thrive. Overall a good first competitive game which bodes well for the future. |

Tomkins was excellent.
How long do we have to put up with McGuire at International level, he is simply not good enough.

I was probably most impressed with his defence today. His enthusiasm was second to none and seemed to lift the rest of the side at the beginning of the second half. Hodges got no change from him all afternoon and spat his dummy out on a couple of occasions.

Bar tackling himself into a standstill and screaming himself crazy for a pass. The amount of times we ran to the left in the first half and missed him out was criminal.
One thing you can never accuse Tomkins of is hiding away and not getting involved. |

I thought the majority could at least take some srt of pride away from their preformences.
Bar our right side defence the team actually went ok in the main and we at least have something to build on. |
