BBC recognising rugby league???
you only have to listen to the crap that Jonathan Davies spouts to know that they dont care about the sport, if they did then im sure they would find someone better who knows the game or played it for more than a handful of seasons......but then again they only know union players. whats next jeremy Guscott doing the summarising.

As you may know Steve has been invited to the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards at Sheffield on December 13th.
I know it may be a long shot but i cannot find anyone more deserving winner of the Helen Rollason Award than Steve.
I you feel as strongly as i do can you please email the following person saying that Steve should in your opinion receive such a accolade.
This will not only be great publicity for Rugby League but also fantastic for the 2 Charities Steve represents The Christie Hospital and the Try Assist Fund. A email will not do Steve's position any harm.

As noted above the Helen Rollason award is presented at the BBC's discretion. However, Carl Doran replied last time I emailed him saying that the judging panel were very aware of Steve's story.
